What made it production-grade

Human-in-the-loop

Every write action and bulk external query pauses for approval. State survives the pause via LangGraph checkpoints in PostgreSQL.

Least-privilege SQL

The agent connects with a restricted Postgres role; column-level grants make customer PII physically unreadable.

Append-only audit log

Every tool call — allowed, denied or rejected — is recorded with arguments and outcome.

Provider-agnostic LLM layer

Anthropic, OpenAI and DeepSeek behind one interface, SSE streaming, and the model locked per conversation.

Tested like a backend

Vitest + PGlite permission tests run real SQL against the restricted roles, so guardrails can't silently regress.

    Built a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business end to end — storefront, admin platform, integrations and an AI operations agent with production-grade guardrails. Sold the business in July 2026.

    • Architected and built a direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform from scratch with Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL, deployed on a self-managed VPS with Dokploy; owned the product from development through production operations.
